What Collab is

Namaste Collab (“Collab”, “we”) is a place where creators of Indian origin who live outside India list themselves, and where brands find them and send collaboration requests. Collab is part of Namaste Community but has its own accounts.

Your account

• You need to be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account.
• Keep access to your email safe: that’s how you sign in.
• One person or business per account. Don’t pretend to be someone else.

Creators

• Your page is public once you publish it. You can pause or delete it any time.
• Only list channels you own or manage, and keep your numbers honest. Unverified numbers are shown as self-reported.
• Only post photos and work you have the right to share.

Brands

• Send requests for real collaborations only. No spam, no mass messaging, no bait offers.
• Describe your brief honestly, including whether it’s paid, a product exchange or gifting.

Deals and money

When a creator and a brand agree to work together, the agreement is between them: fees, deliverables, usage rights, disclosure and tax are theirs to settle. We are not a party to it and can’t guarantee that either side performs. Paying through Collab is optional; a creator and a brand can always agree to pay each other directly. Please follow advertising disclosure rules where you live (for example, labelling paid posts as ads).

Fees

• Collab is free to join. Creating a page, receiving and sending requests, and posting campaigns cost nothing.
• Fees apply only to payments made through Collab, and to optional extras you choose to buy, such as a featured spot. Money a creator and a brand settle directly carries no Collab fee.
• The current rates are on the Pricing page. They may change; we’ll give notice before a change applies, and it never applies to a payment already made.
• Founding creators pay no creator fee for their first 12 months of payments through Collab. Those months start the day payments through Collab open, whenever their page went live.
• Payments through Collab are processed by Stripe, our payment provider.
• When a brand pays through Collab, we hold the payment until the brand approves the work, or until the date it is approved automatically if the brand doesn’t answer. Then we pay it out to the creator, less any creator fee. If a collab is cancelled before the work is delivered, we refund the brand.
• Some features that cost money may not be switched on yet. We only charge for what is live.

What’s not allowed

• Hate, harassment, threats, or sexual content involving anyone under 18.
• Illegal products or services, scams, or anything misleading.
• Moving conversations off Collab to get around our safety tools, or collecting other people’s data.
• Scraping, automated access or anything that disrupts the service.

You can report a profile or a message at any time. We may remove content, pause a page or suspend an account that breaks these terms, and we’ll tell you why when we can.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. By posting it you let us show it on Collab and in links to Collab (for example a preview image when your page is shared), for as long as it’s on the service.

The service

We work hard to keep Collab running and safe, but it is provided “as is”. We may change features, pause parts of the service, or stop it altogether, and will give reasonable notice where we can. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect losses or for what happens in deals between members.

Leaving

You can delete your account from your settings. We may keep some records for a limited time where the law or safety requires it; see the Privacy notice.
